What kind of accommodation does Beirut offer and how much can I expect to pay?
So you've decided to come to Beirut, but do you have a place to stay? Every year Beirut hosts an ever-growing number of tourists and the market is definitely taking note. The number of available hotels and apartments has increased considerably over the past few years to meet the escalating demand.
It's estimated that there are, to date, 8000 bookable hotel rooms in Beirut, ranging from hostel-style accommodation to deluxe 5-star hotels, with luxury suites and small studios in between. There are also furnished and unfurnished apartments, both high-end and budget-friendly, available all over Beirut.
While the number of available rooms is growing rapidly, Beirut is a relatively small city, so the accommodation needs sometimes outweigh the supply, especially in high season. Finding available accommodation during the summer months of June to September is especially difficult, given the huge arrival of tourists during these months.
