Join Tawlet at the Souk to celebrate National Tabbouleh Day and commemorate this most famous and cherished Lebanese dish.

Tabbouleh is a salad, originally Lebanese that has become one of the most popular dishes in the middle east.

Launched internationally on Saturday, 7 July 2001 by Ricardo Mbarkho, Tabbouleh Day allowed one to make a tabbouleh at home and send a picture to a common forum. Since 2007, it has become an official event in Lebanon, held at Souk el Tayeb.

This year you can also participate in the best Tabbouleh Competition held in three different categories:

– Traditional Tabbouleh
– Winter Tabbouleh
– Creative Tabbouleh
