Anis Commercial Printing Press

At the young age of 9, Anis El-Achkar was already interested in printing. The splendor and grace of color printing in particular was fascinating and aroused the child curiosity in him.

His long journey in the field began as early as 1946, as he worked as a hand composer. Later, he mastered the delicate job of handsetting.

In 1957, Anis El- Ashkar devoted all his time and talent to his own printing facility. He had to operate letterpress, a Heidelberg machine, handsetting tools, public relations, while personally marketing his own product.
