The Gulbenkian Theater is hosting a performance of the play “Sdour Al Ammat,” written and directed by Awad Awad.
Synposis: “Sdour Al Ammat” is a play that deals with the social and psychological problems of Arab women living in the patriarchal society iof Lebanon. It shows the lives of three women after death, who are waiting for the coming of their niece “Amira.” While they wait for her, they reminisce about their previous hardships.
