Why pay for Beirut.com when I can get Hotmail or Yahoo! for free?

There are huge problems inherent in having a Yahoo! or Hotmail email account, and this stems from the fact that they are FREE services.

Problem #1: SPAM!

People regularily abandon their Yahoo! or Hotmail accounts because the spamming from junk advertisers was simply too overwhelming to keep up with. Hotmail finds that it is not in their interest to help their non-paying customers avoid the spamming mess.

Problem #2: Customer Support

You cannot reach a human being at the free e-mail services to voice out complaints, solve issues, or ask how to. They allow for nothing further than e-mailing them and you get nothing back ebut system-generated replies that have nothing to do with your immeditae problem that requires support.

Problem #3: Quota and Availability

Because the free e-mail services are hotbeds for Spammers, Hotmail and Yahoo! servers are sometimes so overwhelmed with junk e-mail they reject non-junk e-mail due to availability issues. Also, e-mail to you may bounce back because your 2 MB quota is being used.

Problem #4: File Attachments

You have limits on sending and receiving file attachments. With Beirut.com you can send and receive large attachements.
