Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafes, Night-Clubs and Pastries in Lebanon

The Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafes, Night-Clubs and Pastries in Lebanon was founded in 1945 and formally established in 1946 to create a collective of professionals to act as an official body defending the interests of owners/investors, promoting the industry and participating in the formulation of new tourism laws. At that time Beirut was in the midst of a golden era of tourism and restaurants were flourishing, so the Syndicate’s birth was a direct result of this.

Since 1946, twenty six boards have been elected, each composed of twelve members. And over the past 65 years the Syndicate has accomplished a great deal.
