Dr. Ghassan Nawfal

Dr. Nawfal has a special interest in obesity surgery and in diseases of the liver and pancreas although his specialty encompasses the entire digestive system, in addition to breast and thyroid diseases.
He is a member of several regional medical societies, such as the Lebanese Society for General Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons-Lebanon Chapter.
Dr. Nawfal is also an active member in the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), the highest international authority for surgery of the liver and pancreas which he has been part since 1996 as a delegate for Lebanon.
