The Metropolis Association, the Instituto Cervantes of Beirut, the Mexican Embassy in Lebanon and the Institut français au Liban pay tribute to an extraordinary filmmaker : Luis Buñuel. Several of his classics, including ''Belle de Jour'' (Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival) and ''Viridiana'' (Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival), will be screened at Metropolis Empire Sofil. The event will be accompanied by a ciné-concert on ''Un chien andalou'' with Sharif Sahnaoui and Stéphane Rives, a photo exhibition and a lecture on Buñuel held by the filmmaker Javier Espada.
