This week The Hole in the Wall is bringing you the tribute from hell! Two giants of Metal meet at last to rock your night. The leader of the new wave of British heavy metal Iron Maiden goes head to head with the biggest of the big four of trash METALLICA!

IRON MAIDEN are still going strong with 15 studio albums released over a 35 year career. Their latest and most ambitious release yet (2010) was their best selling album yet, reaching number 1 in countries you haven’t even heard of!

METALLICA is the band that got metal to the mainstream audience. These guys came at a time when glam-metal was the shit. They burst onto the scene with nothing on but simple black tee-shirts and music that demanded your attention. No make-up, no ridiculous hair, just awesome heavy music! And they still have glorious days ahead with a new album to be released this year, a collaboration with none other then Lou Reed, you know it’s going to be good.

These undoubtedly changed the course of modern music, and each one of our lives. I know that, like me, these bands helped you threw some of the harder times in our lives. Let us celebrate their music together this Monday at the Hole in Wall.
