Plan Bey

Plan BEY is a space for creation, development, production, exhibition and retail.

Halfway between a gallery and a bookshop, Plan BEY is a concept boutique mostly selling products developed with local artists exclusively for the shop, and produced in limited quantities.

At a time of globalization and mass production, Plan BEY wants to position itself on a more human scale, and create a contact that is more personal and direct. It seeks to develop a platform for projects that escape the pressure and formatting of the “norm” and are often more personal, atypical, subjective, or even subversive. Plan BEY works with internationally renowned Lebanese artists such as photographer Fouad Elkoury and calligrapher Samir Sayegh, as well as with up and coming young photographers, designers and illustrators.

Plan BEY is the first official “Steidlville” of the Arab world, offering a handpicked selection of some of the most beautiful photography and fine arts books in the world, published on the famous German Steidl editions.

Plan BEY is the Plan B of former music shop La CD-Thèque. You will find in it a small music section, with a very subjective selection, for the music lovers among you who still like to buy originals. It also sells some of Incognito’s collection of music from Lebanon and the region, as well as some of its publications.

Please note: Plan BEY will be open on Sundays during the month of December from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
