The Centre For Advanced Mathematical Sciences invites you to a seminar entitled “A spectral estimate of the Dirac operator on Riemannian flows” by Georges Habib, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences II, Lebanese University.

In this talk, you will be given a new upper bound for the smallest eigenvalue of the Dirac operator on a Riemannian flow carrying transversal Killing spinors. We classify manifolds carrying the limiting case. We then compare our estimate with a lower bound in terms of a natural tesnor depending on the eigenspinor.
