“The Mountain” tells the story of 40-year-old Fadi who is driven to the airport, but instead of taking the plane, he rents a car and heads to the mountains where he isolates himself in a hotel room.

Coinciding with the film release, a critic contest is launched in partnership with Al-Akhbar newspaper. Students in journalism and cinema are encouraged to watch the film and send their critic before November 13th to info@metropoliscinema.net. The article selected by the Al-Akhbar editorial team will be published in the newspaper and on their website.

  • The director will hold a Q&A session on the 4th of November after the screening.
