About the film

Shot in 1921 and released in 1922, Murnau’s Nosferatu is a masterpiece of Germany’s expressionistic cinema. It is also considered to be one of the most beautiful and resonant interpretations of Bram Stoker’s mythic vampire novel Dracula.
