Chateau St Thomas at Tawlet

Wines of Lebanon at Tawlet will hold its fourth series of winemaker’s lunches during December, when Château St Thomas, one of Lebanon’s most exciting wineries, will officially launch Lebanon’s first single varietal Pinot Noir.

The Pinot Noir, made with the famous Burgundian grape, won rave reviews at the recent UK Lebanese wine tastings in London, Manchester and Bristol and is set to create even more interest in Lebanon’s exciting wine renaissance.

It was initially thought that Lebanon was too hot to make a quality Pinot Noir but Joe Assad Touma, the winemaker at Chateau St Thomas, has set a high standard and has shown what can be done with a little care and attention.

So come and taste this excitingly fresh and fruit-filled wine, only at Tawlet and place your Christmas and New Year orders. Made from grapes harvested in 2008, only 8000 bottles have been made so make sure to place your Christmas and New Year orders soon.
