Jewelry Making For Beginners – A Christmas Special Workshop

Sunday, Dec 11, 2011
1:30pm -> 5:30pm
Houna Holistic Center

Jewelry making made fun and easy with Rana El Ibrik; jewelry designer and instructor of jewelry making for beginners. After finishing their course, the students are able to create almost any piece of jewelry using a varied amount of skilled techniques. The workshops are usually made up of 8 sessions; 3 hours long each. An exhibition is organized at the end of each workshop for the new artists to showcase and sell their work to the public for the first time.

Now you can have a glimpse of it all in this special 1 day workshop, designed especially if you want to make jewelry but are not sure if it’s the right thing for you. Instead of signing up for the whole 8 session course, now you can drop in, learn the basics of a new craft, explore the ins and outs of bead designing and meet new people. Tools and materials are provided and all we ask of you is to come with a little bit of passion and imagination. You will be guided through straight forward steps where you can create your first jewelry pieces. You can make as many jewelry pieces as you wish either to keep, wear or to give as presents to your loved ones. After all, Christmas is just round the corner!

Special Feature:The cost of the workshop is 40$ per person or 35$ for a group of friends (2 or more).
Included in the cost:
– Tools to use during the workshop
– Beads and materials (chains, findings, charms, cords, etc.)
