Beirut International Tango Festival 2012

The Beirut International Tango Festival (BITF) is the first international Argentine Tango festival to take place in Lebanon. Since its inception in 2009, the festival has attracted leading international musicians, dancers, and DJs as well as participants from all over the world.

In addition, our participants have the opportunity to participate in organized tourism trips the ancient port-city of Byblos to the everlasting Roman ruins of Baalbek from April 30 to May 6, 2012. We look forward to welcoming you to our historic and beautiful city of Beirut and BITF!
In addition, when the festival is over, our international participants will have the opportunity to participate in 3 organized tourism trips to discover a country with a rich history and an ancient civilization predating JC by 5 thousand years, from the ancient port-city of Byblos, exploring the Jeita Grotto (nominated to be one of the 7 natural wonders of the world), wine tasting in the Bekaa Valley, the discovery of the Lebanese cedars, to the everlasting Roman ruins of Baalbek.

BITF is the first international Argentine Tango festival to take place in Lebanon and the region. Since its inception in 2009, BITF has enjoyed great and growing success year after year, attracting dancers from all over the world.
