The Garden Show & Spring Festival 2012

The Garden Show & Spring Festival has been heralding the start of summer for eight years as gardening enthusiasts from around Lebanon flock to this annual celebration, held over five days at the historical Beirut Hippodrome. Flourishing at a glorious pace, the show has increased its number of exhibitors, events and attractions as it draws in more and more visitors each year, which peaked at an amazing 25,000 visitors in 2011.

Green is no longer just a color. It is synonymous with behavior; a new way of living. We all have toinput our green initiatives, not only to save the planet but also to make our daily life healthier and much better and brighter. Being green is about saving water and energy, changing the way we take care of our house and garden, growing more of our own food and creating beautiful landscapes with less water-quenching plants.

It is for these reasons that the theme of this year is “The Green Attitude”. This attitude is an attribute which can be applicable to each and every one of us and in all domains of our life, and especially in the arena of outdoor living.

The 9th edition of The Garden Show & Spring Festival promises to build upon its previous successes and keep on celebrating and enhancing the great Lebanese Outdoor Way of Life, thus creating a greener Lebanon.

Each year this vibrant and happy event is eagerly awaited by all. It is a five-day event that is not tobe missed.
