Before they were building the Three Gorges Dam and throttling astronauts into space, those engineers were playing in the sandbox and asking mom or dad for juice. Invest $15 (regularly $30) in your child to introduce them to a two-hour introductory renewable energy or robotics class from The Little Engineer. This 120-minute group class asks your ‘mini-engineer in the making’ to build hands-on projects to work as young scientists or to use their creativity in a challenging environment with themes such as human bodies, houses, and animals. The Little Engineer is dedicated to educating young minds and increasing public understanding and appreciation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics through interactive tailored programs.
