The arts and crafts movement is back. This time, lead by the artisan, the artist of the manual and the tactile, who rises again to bloom in the realm of design.

The women artisans, who have been contributing manually to the designs of Sarah’s Bag for the past 12 years, have become today a small yet reliable local entity.

While the whole world is diving into virtual expansion and anonymity of mass production, we’re bringing back the needle to those hands that work hard to create uniqueness. We’re giving back to the artisans what belongs to them… the invisible energy locked into the design process. Sarah takes you on a trip “behind the scenes” of Sarah’s Bag, to discover the source of inspiration, the revival of handicraft and traditional artisan techniques such as embroidery, crochet, cocoon, canvas.
