Beirut Jam Sessions Presents Nadeah Live at DRM

Thursday, Aug 30, 2012
8:30pm -> 1:30am
DRM - Democratic Republic of Music

Nadeah has been described as an eccentric performer. Based in Paris, her new album “Venus Gets Even” was released in September 2011 and is an exciting blend of indie-punk-rock and emotionally charged ballads. This is her first solo project and she been touring all over the place with her band since the release of the album.

She was previously the lead singer of the Lovegods and sang for and toured with the very popular Nouvelle Vague for quite a while before going her own way. She has played at Europe’s largest festivals including UK’s Glastonbury festival, France Radio’s Montpellier Festival, and Italy’s Ravello festival. She’s also supported alternative artists such as Nick Cave, Franz Ferdinand, Kelis, Damian Rice and punk icon Mick Jones (The Clash).

The opening act of the event will present one of Lebanon’s hidden talents. A resident of New York, Karim Douaidy will be back in Beirut to give his first ever solo performance.
