The Junkyard that looks like a gem

Spotted by Najib over at Blog Baladi, there’s a new pop-up restaurant concept in town called, “The Junkyard.”

The restaurant is hidden away on a side street in Mar Mikhael and looks like a cross between a thrift store and a hipster’s makeshift patio. It’s adorable.

Pop-up shops have been gaining popularity in Beirut. We’ve seen, for instance, the ” target=”_new”>Inaash pop-up shop with sales going toward Palestinian refugees.

The Junkyard’s menu changes daily and the average bill runs at about $40 per person. For more info, click here.
