Hussein Hajj Hassan

Born in the year 1960, he received a “doctoral degree in molecular biophysical chemistry from the University of Orléans” in the year 1987.

From 2000 to 2005 he led the parliamentary commission on Agriculture and Tourism.

November 2009: Appointed Minister of Agriculture under Prime Minister Saad Hariri

June 2011: Reappointed Minister of Agriculture under Prim Minister Najib Mikati.
