Salim Karam

Born in 1946, Karam is the son Youssef Karam, a former politician. He graduated from the American University of Beirut with a degree in Business Administration, and has been the head of the Karam Family League since the year 1973.

June 2011: Appointed Minister of State under Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
