Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI, will be on his first official visit to Lebanon in September, for a duration of three days. The Pope arrives on September 14.
On September 15, a Youth meeting, entitled “My Peace I give to you”, will be held at the courtyard of the Patriarchate – Bkerkeh, at 15:30 p.m., in an atmosphere of joy, praise and spiritual preparation. The Lebanese youth (17-30 years old) are invited to join this blessed and joyful Encounter with the participation of Youth delegations from several Middle Eastern countries. To get a card to be part of the event, get in touch with your Parish priest, your Association/Community’s Responsible or the responsible person in your Diocese Youth Commission.

On September 16, the Pope will head to the City Center Waterfront in Beirut for a Religious Mass, which will be followed by a visit to the Syrian Catholic patriarchate.
