We Might As Well

We Might As Well captures traces of women’s lives within one of the few persevered historical buildings in Beirut. Are they ghosts of past moments – the history of one woman as many? Or are they dancers on the same journey in the same room? Partly whimsical and partly true, this film offers a collaboration of dance, stop motion and time-lapse cinematography and architecture.

The video, directed by Wafa’a Celine Halawi, will be screened as part of the Lebanese Film Festival 2012 in Cinema 1.
