Zaven Kouyoumdjian

Zaven Kouyoumdjian is a Lebanese TV celebrity, talk show host and producer of “Sireh Wenfatahit” program on Future TV since 1999.

He studied Communication Arts at the Lebanese American University in Beirut. He then attended a series of international training workshops on media. And currently he is pursuing his postgraduate studies in Media at the Notre Dame University.

Zaven started his career as a news reporter for Tele Liban, the state run television of Lebanon. After 7 years of news, he moved to Future Television (FTV) in 1999. His top rated show “Sire Wenfatahit” on FTV is now the longest running social talk show on any Arab satellite. The show has created a new genre in Arab talk TV and has marked some of the most unforgettable moments on Arab Television over the last decade.

Best known for his controversial and edgy topics, Zaven speaks to an estimated 20 million Arab speaking audience.

“NEWSWEEK” magazine named him one of the 43 most influential people in the Middle East.
