Zahra escapes from Upper Egypt to Cairo as she thought that her father has killed her beloved Metwalli. The owner of Kussal Casino at Ezbakeya Garden discovers her and she becomes the most famous singer at that time.
An officer, Anwar Ismail Pasha, falls in love with her. She is accused of being a spy for the British and she murders the owner of the Casino.

A film by director Walid Aouni, that is part of the Lebanese Film Festival 2012.

The screening is followed by a meeting with director Caroline Hatem, Hady Zaccak and Walid Aouni.
