After a long exile, Marie Seurat returns to Syria where she was born. She wants to buy a house so she starts looking for an ideal home in Christian, Islamic, and Jewish areas. Quickly, she understands that her project is not viable and that she does not belong anywhere in Syria. But the memories haunt her regardless.
