Since 2006, Toufoula has been extending a caring hand that aims to brighten up the lives of hospitalized children by providing hospitals around the country with Dream Rooms aiming at making a child’s stay at the hospital as pleasant as possible.
Toufoula describes the dream room at Makassed General Hospital as a room created using the healing qualities of nature, music, light and colors.
To date, Toufoula has implemented the project in five pediatric cancer wards inside Lebanese hospitals, namely: Hotel Dieu de France, Rafik Hariri University Hospital, Geitaoui, Zahra’, and in August 2012, Makassed General Hospital. Currently, the pediatric cancer ward at Notre Dame de Secours and Geitaoui Hospitals are being transformed as well through generous donations.
