Lebanese Dance Council

LDC, a member of WDC (World Dance Council), is the official governing council of Dance and Dancesport in Lebanon, the leading authority of dance for Professionals, Amateurs and Pro/Am Competitors. It is also the sole representative of Lebanon of the World Dance Council

LDC, established in May 2012, is the organizer of the official dance competitions of WDC in Lebanon. It also embraces the ADD or Artistic Dance Department, the governing of other types of dancing such as solo dancing, one dance competitions, synchronized shadow dancing and dance show.

The LDC is the only national organization that offers all levels of Pro/Am competitions. Its purpose is to provide, on a nation-wide basis, a united inter-association agency to represent the interests of those in the dance profession and other dance-related entities and to act as the agency for cooperation with similar councils in other countries.
