The Wanton Bishops Perform at Radio Beirut

Radio Beirut is proud to present The Wanton Bishops in their first official performance in Beirut. Raised in the dingy back-alley whiskey-soaked juke joints of Beirut (if you can call ’em that), The Wanton Bishops are a two-piece band with hired musical guns.

Inevitably compared to The Black Keys, this duo – Nader Mansour (vocals, guitar, harmonica, keyboards) and Eddy Ghosein (guitar, backing vocals, banjo) – are a blues rock revival act, the likes of which have never been heard in the region.

Plus – expect to stay after for a themed night of tunes by two of Radio Beirut’s own Brother Jackson and the return of the heavy heavy soul brother – Heavy G (The Beirut Groove Collective).
