Introductory Ceramics Workshop at Nasawiya Cafe

Take a few hours to get in touch with your artistic side and decorate your own tile with distinctive designs, then use them as beautiful everyday objects to display around the house or office.

And the best part is: you do not need previous experience working with clay.

Anyone interested in crafts, ceramics, or painting can take part in this workshop.

Techniques you will learn:

-Monoprinting:Transferring images from fabric onto clay.
-Stamp 1: Making marks on clay using a carved rubber block (stamp).
-Stamp 2: Printing on clay with a carved rubber block (stamp).
-Paper Stencils: Creating a design using paper stencils.
-Sgraffito: Carving away the black surface to expose the white clay.
