Rami Ollaik

Rami Ollaik is the author of the acclaimed best-selling autobiography, The Bees Road, an inspiring account of Rami’s life from his childhood in war-torn South Lebanon and his indoctrination into fundamentalist Islam to his public denouncement of Hezbollah and his pursuit of love and enlightenment.

Ollaik is an attorney, a professor of beekeeping at the American University of Beirut, a writer, and co-founder of Bees Road Publications. He holds a BS in agriculture and an MS in agricultural economics from the American University of Beirut and a License in Law from the Lebanese University, and he finished his PhD studies in food and resource economics at the University of Florida.

Rami Ollaik remains an active advocate of a Lebanon free of oppression, sectarianism, corruption, and ulterior motives of the ruling class. He continues to write passionately against the problematic practices of US-Middle East relations in hopes of an acquired awareness toward a better Lebanon. He currently resides in Beirut, Lebanon.
