The Origami Academy: A Treat for Kids AND Parents

It only makes sense that five moms would come up with this cool concept: a children’s center packed with all kinds of educational activities to keep your little ones entertained while parents can sit back and relax at the adjoining café.

As co-owner Corinne Chedrawi tells Beirut.com: “We were just thinking about what we could do with the kids. All we have around us are playgrounds and no educational options, so we started putting some ideas together and we came up with the idea to do the academy. Here, they can come and learn things and work, not just play and go home.”

The Origami Academy is now open to walk-ins, but a full set of courses will officially kick off in October. You can sign your kids up for a number of activities ranging from dance to fashion design, painting, cooking and singing.
