Peaceful protest against anti-Islam film

Around 500 Afghans rallied peacefully (we stress on that word: peacefully) in Kabul last week to condemn “Innocence of Muslims,” the shoddy, anti-Islamic film mocking the Prophet Mohammad.

The protest was organized by the United Reformists Party.

It’s beyond refreshing to see a civil demonstration of free speech amid all the violent outbursts and socially inept responses to the film. Love it.
