The Bohemian Life Screening at BIFF 2012

Marcel is a Parisian poet and playwright, evicted from his modest room after he is unable to pay the rent. He meets Rodolfo, a painter, equally poor and an illegal immigrant. The two make another friend, Schaunard, an Irish composer who is renting Marcel’s former room.

They help each other in the daily struggle to survive by sharing whatever money they have. Rodolfo falls madly in love with Mimi, a poor French girl, but he is soon deported back to Albania. He returns to Paris for six months and, by then, Mimi has found another boyfriend.
