As part of the Minassa festival, the play “Beirut Sepia” by Chrystèle Khodr will be performed at the Monnot Theatre.
Synopsis: “My mother remembers a city that looks like a postcard that I’ve never known. I do not go looking for the lost paradise of my mother. I mean my feeling of defeat when I walk in the streets of the city, when I imagine the memories that are demolished by bulldozers. Maybe if I gathered these memories I could save what remains of my love for her: the city.”
Entrance fee: 15,000 LL
