Sunset in Beirut

“Beirut being beautiful and s***.” Such eloquence deserves recognition. But seriously, tweep @ Tony_Hawi‘s photo is beyond gorgeous. Check out that rippling sea and those luminescent rays.

Taken with a color dodge filter, I feel like this shot looks straight outta Japan, too serene for the hustle and bustle of Beirut. But then again, there are those occasional Tuesday evenings where it seems like the world’s ticking on at a glacial pace.
