When Movies Were Black-and-White

Remember back in the day when color screens were amazing? Yeah, I wasn’t born yet.

But kudos to any of you old enough to remember the ancient days of black-and-white screens, back when Charlie Chaplin charmed the world without his bowler hat and rampant sign language. Just check out this photo tweeted by @rania_elkhatib showing a decades old Empire Cinema building, with a scandalous looking lady smack dab in the center. Oh the days of flapper dresses and pocket-watches.
