Five Score and Four Years Ago…

For those bad at math, that translates to 104 years. A whopping 104 year old postcard, dated – as the more achieving some of you might have already calculated – 1908.

Back when car’s were a new-fangled contraption and the industrial revolution was reaching a close, one the most identifiable landmarks of Lebanon – the Raouche – stood timeless in the sea.

It looks exactly the same now as it did a century ago: absolutely beautiful.
