Umbrellas Are For Your Head

Not for your clothes.

I mean seriously, how hard is it to take your clothes inside to let them dry? As ingenious as this might first appear, keep in mind that the clothes aren’t at all covered from the side, and if wind accompanies the rain, well say goodbye to those umbrellas. Thanks to @ReemItani for tweeting this ridiculous image of an umbrella-ridden clothesline in Mar Elias.

Only in Lebanon does this seem like an appropriate solution. I’d love to hear the logic behind this one. Or lack-thereof.
