Metropolis Cinema will be screening the German movie "Bliss" by Doris Dörrie, as part of the 19th European Film Festival.

Synopsis: Irina is a war refugee turned prostitute, Kalle a homeless punk. When they meet, they quickly fall for each other. Against all odds, they manage to find some stability in the small apartment that Irina uses as her office. One day, one of Irina’s clients drops dead and she flees in panic. When Kalle returns home and finds the corpse, he decides that nothing will stop him to defend the bliss he has found with the woman he loves.
