As part of the 19th European Film Festival, Metropolis Cinema will be screening "Montevideo, Taste of a Dream", a movie by Dragan Bjelogrlić.
Synopsis: It’s the journey of twelve enthusiastic anonymous soccer players, from the streets of impoverished Belgrade neighbourhoods and local matches, to the formation of the national team and the departure for the first FIFA World Cup in Uruguay in 1930. The initial doubt that surrounded their lives is transformed into friendship, love and most importantly a common decision to prove themselves in Montevideo.
