Metropolis Cinema will be screening “Medal of Honour”, a movie by Calin Peter Netzer, as part of the 19th European Film Festival.
Synopsis: One day, Ion, a seventy-five-year-old Romanian man, accidentally receives a Medal of Honour for some “heroic” actions back during World War II, a time he barely remembers. The medal forces Ion to reconsider his whole life. Maybe he wasn’t a loser after all. Maybe his life has a meaning. Maybe he means something to his family.
