Twister Touches Down on Beirut Coast

I think we’ve expended all possible “end of the world” analogies, but this picture is making it very, very difficult to not scream “run for your f’ing lives.”

Captured and posted on Cedric Ghoussoub’s Facebook page, this twister makes me shudder more than the five degree blistering winds screeching through our poorly insulated office.

But maybe that’s because I’ve had a phobia of tornadoes ever since I saw the movie “Twister” when I was a kid.

Or maybe I just felt bad for the cows. Or in this case, the fish.

Let’s just pray that it’s not your flight passing through this doozy. Or you just might not be in Kansas anymore.
