Of Women and Flowers Exhibition at Artlab

Artlab Gallery is proud to present “Of Women and Flowers”, a solo exhibition by Ayman Fidda.

Since the dawn of ages, Man looked to express his environment artistically through several tools and medium. In his quest for the perfect proportions, he was inspired by his immediate proximity and depicted the “Woman” be it a mother, wife, sister or lover, and surrounded it with flowers, the simplest and most gentle form of natural beauty.

Alongside many artists inspired by womanly beauty, Ayman Fidda explores its essence through lines capturing the body curves and its transparencies taking us far deep into his subjects; while his colors come to highlight the facial traits according it with modern beauty standards. Fidda also paints flowers either as a beauty element in their own right or to complement the femininity of his subjects.
