Sit In for Civil Marriage at Nejmeh Square
The thorny issue of civil marriage in Lebanon is back on everyone’s mind after news broke that the first civil marriage in Lebanon was conducted in November 2012.
A group of activists are organizing a sit-in in favor of civil marriage in Nejmeh Square to pressure the government to tackle the issue of civil marriage and legalize it once and for all.
