Act For The Disappeared Creates Moving Video Tribute

In a poignant tribute to “Fouad”, who I can only assume is missing, Act For The Disappeared’s latest video evokes sadness in a mass tribute to those Lebanese who’ve disappeared.

Drawn in a melancholy black-and-white scheme, perhaps in a further effort to transmit emotion, the video features a young child going throughout his life, with the shadow of a missing person almost constantly in view. The shadow’s presence coveys a bittersweet sadness, transcending the barriers of video with the help of chilling music.

The video end with a reminder of what Act For The Disappeared truly stands for; paying tribute to the missing while striving to find a solution for an ongoing problem.

“Some things slowly fade away. But the missing remain.”
