Touch is holding the DevelAppLB Hackathon that will enable you to combine your efforts with others and build a mobile application for any mobile platform using the Touch Cloud. You can pitch your idea and form a team, or join a team at the event. Whether you are a mobile app developer, interface designer, business developer, or marketer, your skills are needed at the Hackathon.
This event, organized by AltCity, will kickstart your mobile app startup process, and will help you build a demonstrable prototype by the end of the weekend. Apps can be for anything you want, but you are especially encouraged to create apps that help, in some way, build a better Lebanon.
All participants will receive guidance during the Hackathon from technical, design, and business mentors, plus key action-oriented workshops during the event to accelerate the app development process. People are not required to take part in the Touch Cloud workshops before the Hackathon, but those workshops will certainly give you a head start in mastering the skills necessary to build a quality app in 48 hours.
The Hackathon winners will win great prizes including cash, tech equipment, and in-kind prizes such as mentorship and business supports. Hackathon winners are also guaranteed a spot in the coming DevelAppLB PitchFest.
