Mount Lebanon Municipality Imposes Curfew on Foreigners

The Anti-Racism in Lebanon’s Facebook group posted a picture on Friday of a sign reportedly hanging in the Mount Lebanon municipality of Betchay Merdaché which reads: “The municipality… announces that is strictly forbidden for foreigners to wander the streets between 8:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The same goes for motorcycles that don’t have permits approved by the municipality.”

tl;dr: Racism is alive and well in Lebanon.
